I’m Sarah and Cale, and this is My Story
Hi, I’m Sarah. I have been an Occupational Therapist for about 2.5 years now and I travel with my boyfriend, Cale, who is also an Occupational Therapist. We grew up in upstate New York and met in grad school. We both knew that we didn’t want to stay in New York but weren’t sure exactly where we wanted to go. As soon as I found out about traveling occupational therapy I was intrigued and couldn’t believe that I had the opportunity to travel while also doing what I love. We have been from Maryland to California and are now currently on an assignment in Phoenix, AZ. I have worked mostly in schools but have also taken a contract in home health. I believe my passion is working in the school setting but I love expanding my knowledge in other areas as well.
Hello my name is Cale and I am a traveling occupational therapist. Being able to travel has been an amazing opportunity for me as a person and for my career. I have been able to experience working in multiple skilled nursing facilities, home health companies and currently a school system. Being able to work in different companies and settings has not only made me a better therapist, but it has also helped me figure out what setting I want to work in for the rest of my career.
Our favorite part about being a traveling Occupational Therapist is meeting new people and challenging ourselves in a new working environment. We have learned so much within the last 2.5 years in both our personal and professional life. Cale and I love working out, hiking and finding new restaurants to go to as we continue to travel. Phoenix has been amazing and the hiking is beautiful. I may have to say it has been our favorite assignment so far. Working with Centra has been a great opportunity and the communication is amazing. Our recruiter, Kylie, is always there when we need her and willing to do as much as she can to ensure we have a great experience. We look forward to continuing to travel and seeing what new awaits us.
